WHO IS KWENTYN?
Kwentyn Terrell Wiggins was a bright light; his warm smile, wide grin and radiance enveloped all who crossed his path. His skills in the classroom, on the court and on the stage captivated our hearts and minds. His spirit and character inspired everyone around him. Kwentyn was killed in a single car accident on June 10, 2019. There are no words to describe how devastating this loss is for our family and community. Kwentyn was truly beloved and this foundation is a way to keep his spirit alive in all those he touched.
How we started
We started the foundation in March of 2020 to honor Kwentyn Terrell Wiggins. This is a way of keeping his memory alive for years to come.
Meet Our Family
Orlando Wiggins
I am Orlando Wiggins, Father of six Children and grandfather of 5. I grew up loving sports, baseball & basketball. I have a passion for coaching sports, which I have coached all my own children in some type of sport over the years. I have coached baseball and basketball for over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of coaching Kwentyn since he was a little boy. I am currently coaching at Tam high school, which is something that I have enjoyed for many years. I grew up without a father figure in my life which drew me to becoming a coach and helping the youth throughout Marin County. Coaching has given me a chance to help all the youth that don’t have a male-role model in their lives; a chance to make a difference. As a coach my goal is to teach youth to be leaders in their communities and in their sport. I will continue to keep Kwentyn legacy alive through coaching and leading youth on the court and off the court.

The goals of the Kwentyn Terrell Wiggins Family Foundation
1. Bring awareness to the youth in Marin County and the greater Bay Area that the dangers of distracted/impaired driving don’t always mean intoxication.
2. In collaboration with other community youth programs, we will sponsor youth from the Marin City community and give them an opportunity to travel abroad, make new friends, and learn what it means to be a student athlete.
3. Finally, we will assist youth from the Marin City community in reaching their educational goals by providing educational scholarships.
Mission Statement
The Kwentyn Terrell Wiggins Family Foundation’s mission is to support the youth of the greater Bay Area in their aspirations to live their lives as Kwentyn did, with kindness, hardwork, and determination in pursuit of a successful future.
